I use Winamp to play my music and use it a lot. What I'm wondering is this: is there any setting within it or add on that can keep the volume relatively constant? Some songs are quieter than others and it's driving me crazy...

you need to adjust the volume level or "normalise" it. it's not winamps fault, and it doesn't do this automatically. try searching for a program that does this. i have one on my computer at home. might be called mp3gain, but i'm not sure.
