Bootstoots Feb 28, 2004, 07:05 AM FA instructions
Treaties: None this chat.
Embassies: Build embassies with Egypt and Greece (provided of course that the pertinent poll passes)
War Declarations: None this chat, and if war is declared on us, please stop the chat.
Tribute Demands: Reject all tribute demands from Russia unless the demand is trivial (10 gold or less and/or a territory map). From other countries, pay all tribute demands that do not exceed 40 gold or 2 gpt or that include technologies, cities, or contacts. If the demand exceeds 40 gold, 2 gpt, or includes contacts, techs, or cities, reject the demand.
Territory incursions: Do not request or demand that any nation move its troops from our territory during this turnchat. If what appears to be a possible invasion force arrives near a city, please stop the chat and we can determine what to do in the forums.
New contacts: It is not mandatory that the chat be stopped if we make a new contact. I would recommend, however, that the chat be stopped if a new contact provides a good trading possibility.
CivGeneral Feb 28, 2004, 05:55 PM Province of Berry Instructions
Note: The Instructions will be null and void If Plexus post the instructions.
Laborers
If a city becomes unhappy and provisions have not been taken to rectify the problem, use this formula (1.5*Shield Production+1.1*Food Production+Wealth Production) to decide what is the tile with the lowest production.
Queue
Santa Lucia: Worker (2), Swordsmen
Huntington: Galley (10), Barracks
Vo Mimbre: Horsemen (2), Worker, Settler
Deux Rivieres: Settler (8), Barracks (MM notice: Micromanage for greater SPT input)
Montpellier: Worker (9), Granary (MM notice: Micromanage for greater SPT input as the City grows)
TerminalMan90 Feb 28, 2004, 06:16 PM Slider Instructions
The DP should set the slider to the minimum percentage that delivers the Republic at the earliest possible turn. The Senate supports a setting of 10% Luxury if it is absolutely necessary to maintain happiness in one or more of the nation's cities. The Senate also requires an increase in the taxation allocation to keep net income above -15 gpt
Unit upgrades
An amount of gold, not to excede 300gp for the purpose of upgrading warriors to swordsmen to protect our nation and make us strong compared to the Babylonians, has been allocated by the Senate.
Rik Meleet Feb 28, 2004, 06:56 PM Uhmmm ... my dear President.
My boss, Octavian_X has asked me, as T&T deputy, in this thread (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=1622498#post1622498), to post the instructions. I hope you can accept them as legal.
The instructions are summarised in the outcome of this Trade Poll (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=80075). I'll explain how it is supposed to be read.
If the option: "We won't do trades now." Gets more votes than the first 4 combined; don't do trades.
About the first 4:
They are seperated into 2 "1A" and 2 "1B" groups. You have to add the votes of those 2 to know whether the citizens want "1A" or "1B". The same goes for "trade" and "hold".
At the moment there are 2 votes for: We do 1A, 2 and then we follow path "trade" and 1 for We do 1A, 2 and then we follow path "hold". So "1A" has 3 votes.
There are 2 votes for We do 1B, 2 and then we follow path "trade" and 4 for We do 1B, 2 and then we follow path "hold". So "1B" has 6 votes.
"1B" currently leads "1A" 6 to 3.
In the same way, "hold" leads "trade" by 5 to 4.
So, at this moment in time we'd do "1B" and "hold", but that can still change.
If the vote is equal, you decide. I'll try to make the turnchat, in case my explanation isn't clear enough.
Regards,
Rik Meleet
T&T deputy.
