Discussion on this may be found here (

This will be implemented that the start of term 4.

What this does:

This proposed amendment seperates culture from the internal affairs department, and creates a Culture Ministry. It also seperates the Trade and Technology department into the Trade department and the Research Department, each dealing with it's respective area's.

Additional Change's because of this law:

Article G of the Code of Laws

G. Chain of Command
1. Determines the Designated Player if the President is
unavailable for the turn chat.
a. If no citizen in the CoC is present at the game play
session, the session shall be ended.

2. Settles departmental jurisdiction conflicts.

3. COC
a. President
b. Vice President
c. Minister of Internal Affairs
d. Minister of Defense
e. Minister of Foreign Affairs
f. Minister of Trade
g. Minister of Research
h. Minister of Culture

The two new poistions listed above force a small change in the Chain of Command. Minister of Research is placed under Minister of Trade, for trade still has the final word in most trade matters.

Article B of the Code of Laws
2. Council
a. The Council of the Executive Branch consists of the
Leaders of the 6 departments.

We have two new departments... 4+2=6 :lol:

Strider I know you are very enthusiastic about this but can you please follow the rules for changing the ruleset.

This change helps several differant problems:

1) It takes work of several leaders, increasing the effciency of hte executive department.
2) It adds two new poistions onto the CoC, which decrease's the chance of no one being able to play the game.
3) It allows us to watch other civs movements much more carefully than before.

Strider you need to change the Constitution first.
Please read the rules on doing that.

Ahh, must have missed that, sorry didn't put my contacts in this morning, and I can't see very good with them anyway. The const. is really hard for me to read.
