ok guys, this will be my first PBEM game, and so I'm gunna lay down a couple things to play by

1) once you get your game, play your turn ASAP to keep game going

2) if you run into technical difficulties, contact me immediatly!

3) use common sense when talking to others, disuptive players will be kicked!

4) all inactives will be dropped without warning! (this is your only warning!)

5) once you play your turn, and send it off, its gone! do not ever ask if I can turn back time because you made a mistake!

to join this, send me a PM with your e-mail address, the name u go by in game, and also the name of your civilization, along with password! (pass is optional, but highly recommended to keep people from playing your turn!)

I'm willing to take 8 players, but will start based on popular vote. This game will be played by the defaults except that accelerated production will be on to speed up game. Now I dont want to be spamming the boards with.. (turn 1, 4000 BC sent to <input name>) instead, make a mailing list/address book, and you'll be sending an e-mail to all players AFTER you have sent the next player the game to play out his turn..

I would love to play but I'm already involved in 14 PBEM, and about to start one more. If you notice your game gets further and further down the list, just keep bumping it back up to the top. It may take awhile to get the game going, but stick with it.

I think trying to get 8 players is asking a lot. Eight will likely sign up eventually but the game may go very slowly or not at all.

I've only just started a few PBEMs but it seems they move rather slowly so maybe having the AP 'on' will be good thing.

@Rocinante When I said read between the lines, I bolded the last two numbers of the year (1945). It happened to coincidently be the same number as the turn I played. Weird huh? ;) I just like to look for new ways to say the same ol' "Turn X sent to EliitMees."

I am really satisfied with how I played the start--not saying I wasn't lucky, I got real lucky with the goodie huts and the rest of it just sort of fell together (much to the Persian's dismay). Now it gets harder and more complicated. I wouldn't underestimate those Russians & their pet Greeks. Good luck!

Not your fault, I still have the save tens days after receiving it. My Internet at home is all but dead. Therefore, my PBEM access is terminated until who knows when. If you want, you can find a replacement for me. I'll PM/E-mail them the password. I can go to my library and have an hour a day of Internet, so my visiting time here will be greatly reduced. I remember this game as one of those few with good starting location

Sigh... fate's not very kind to me. I updated to version 1.22 and apparently it's not capatible with 1.20. So if one of you would be so kind as to tell me how to uninstall 1.22 so I can install 1.20? I assume 1.20 is at www.civ3.com, correct?
