Hi!

This is a fantasy unit requested by Grandraem (thanks for the request - I learned a few good things about pov-ray while doing this :) ).

The phase effects look a bit weird in this preview. They look even weirder in the flicster with alpha on. But trust me, they are quite nice - strange&unique but nice in the game.

It looks even better than I expected. It's from an old Dungeons and Dragons game called 'Into the Maelstrom'. I always loved the picture, now I have a great 3-D model. Thanks.:)

Actually it's Mystara based. One of the original worlds. you got the right game though. ;)

Been trying to get people to do some Spelljammer units, but not much luck. This would fit nicely, though :)

This unit is totally awesome!! I think I'll include it in a Final Fantasy RPG (http://www.returnergames.com/) that I'm in the process of cooking up.

BTW, What kind of system do you need to run POV Ray, how much does it cost, and where can I get it? I'd kinda like to try my hand at modeling, but can't find any halfways decent 3d Modeling programs that don't cost a king's ransom and require a Beowulf cluster to run.:mad:

But anyways, this is another awesome unit, keep up the good work (maybe you could post a tutorial for us sorry wannabe modelers).:goodjob:
