thanks, yes but winzip is larger and currently I've nearly reached my webspace-limits, so try to reduce every file to get some more kb :D

yes sure, but only grey, and with a problem in attack and run-animation, this unit includes a 'normal' attack.flc but the old run.flc and is completly modified to look like the real black-clothed WaffenSS (I used 2 different units 'WaffenSS' and 'Stormtrooper' to make this one but it looks like the same)

nice. Not to be picky but I would of like a color-conversion (to black) of the PTW German Infantry. But good job nonetheless.

the university needs much time, so I can't do a lot of mods (don't know when I can publish my Winterterrain-mod, maybe I wait up to next winter :D )
at the moment I've some free weeks, but have to learn for some exams too, I'm fascinated of the game "Sacred" and try to create a savegame/character-editor with another one, I think in 1-2 weeks the first version will be ready :cool: (but that's not the right forum for this ^^)

(The black uniform and weapon just make this unit look really good, I don't think waffen SS should go around in grey???? any historical pics for this kind of Uniforms?? also, the rifle just for me is quite WW1, not WW2, at least in that animation...)

Maybe a nice SA Unit (which noone has made yet) would also be great... (brown uniform, colt like weapon...)

Actually black uniforms were only worn for ceremonial purposes like parades, guard duty at selected State Ministries- the black was used by the SS, the waffen SS instead was a different organisation- in the field the Waffen SS would wear normal army grey (feldgrau) until the issueing of better, cammouflage (spelling?) equipment.

The Rifle was WWII standard issue weaponry- in the field, felwebels (Seargeants) and officers frequently had MPs. Mashine Guns instead were still too bulky at this time, hence required more than one person to carry one MG unit. So, the rifle is quite fitting for WWII- have in mind again that even if later during the war the Waffen SS had better weapons than the regular army this happened only until after 1942/43. The black coloured TRT unit is the ceremonial (hence white gloves, rifle)
Leibstandarte one, Hitler's Personal guard (Hitler had an entire Waffen SS division for his and other high official's protection- rather than having regular SS thugs around ;))

ok, the uniforms were grey, but dark grey, the unit we see here is just to light, which is why I prefer a black uniform, it fits both better. Also, the rifle just looks to much like a old one shot rifle... If it looked somehow more modern....

Isn't this the Waffen SS? The Nazi Waffen SS? If you've got a problem with the Swatzika, you probably shouldn't be downloading SS units in the first place ...

I've got no problem with anyone finding the Swatzika offensive, but I'm not a fan of censoring history. If you don't like, don't download it. Simple as that.

I've been needing an SS (Schutzstaffeln) soldier for my WW2 scenario.

*Sigh* SOE will be out before you know it. I can assure that Reccon and the Other SOE fellas have been working their fingers to bloody stumps for months on this baby. So don't make a World War II in Europe Scenario. I'd be like painting a chuch ceiling as Michellangeo just finished the Sistine Chapel. However, if you were to make a small part, such as the Itallian campaign, or just a single battle, like the Battle of the Buldge, I'm sure that would get you alot of downloads.
