I just rented a copy of Ninja Gaiden from the local Hollywood Video. So far the game is pretty good, but I'm stuck at the first boss. Has anyone else played this? So far, except for the difficulty, it seems to be living up to the hype.

Great game, no doubt. Though it is probably the hardest game I've played in the last two or three years.

www.gamefaqs.com got me through some tough spots, I'm not all that ashamed to say.

My cousin just brought it over and it is fairly hard. Didn't have much trouble until the first boss who kept whippin my butt. Apparently I need to get the blocking down and more wall running and Y attacks and such. But the cut scenes and the story I've seen are pretty awesome.

Update: Wow, this game kicks some serious butt. It's amazing. At each boss I learn new techniques, like how to block and dodge better, and how to use the auto-centering. Btw Plexus, I looked on Gamefaqs and there were no guides. Did you go on the forums or something?

Anyway, great game, I highly reccommend it.

EDIT: Oh, I see that there are quite a few Faqs there now. Apparently a whole bunch of them were added literally over night.
