I'm not too great with computers and so have come to ask for help in choosing a joypad for my computer. As I understand it there are two different "types" of joypad now I am not altogether sure which one of these my computer takes. I think my computer has the port for the most commonly used type though as a while ago I bought a joypad and as I recall this question came up.
Anyway I was wondering if any of you could reccomend me a cheap (under £10 joypad) that will basically just do its job (I'm not expecting much for under a tenner).

Well on my old computer I had a Microsoft Sidewinder, it was very good. Although my new computer didn't have the right port to connect the sidewinder. So I bought a device from play.com that allows me to hook two Playstation 2 controllers through one USB port. It cost around £7 so it was definatly worth it. Especially considereing the PS2 controller is the best controller I've ever used.

Just had a look at Play.com to see if they had a similar device that worked with GameCube pads but alas no luck :(

What's a "joypad"?:undecide:

Is that a little handheld keyboard of game buttons?
