Also with Byzantines. :) ironmikie Mar 08, 2004, 05:20 AM 1 Koreans Emperor Still playing.... and its suppose to be my best game.I'm leading in the tech race since the middle ages. The lucks not with me I guess.... :( soren Mar 08, 2004, 05:46 AM This is just a note for those readers who are not familiar with the concept of a scientific leader: Scientific leaders, frist of all, are in civ CONQUESTS. How are do you get them? There is a chance that you get them whenever you discover a science first (am i right?). So, I'm conluding, the more civs the less likeky you'll get on. If you are a scientifc civ, however, this change increases (by how much i don't know). What do they do? You have two options (excluding saving them for later): you can rush Great WOnders (or anything else), OR, you can increse science output in ALL cities by 25%. Also, you can save them (you can have more than one at a time). Khan Quest Mar 10, 2004, 02:32 PM Three. But twice I've got two GSLs in row, without using the first one, and both had the same name (Aristotle and Aristotle). Warman17 Mar 10, 2004, 02:46 PM 3 Stevenpfo Mar 10, 2004, 05:51 PM 4-5 in one game. I believe everyone has a 5% chance of getting a SGL everytime you research a tech first. And a 8% chance if you're a scientific civ. I beleive those are the stats I read somewhere in the academy. Cuivienen Mar 10, 2004, 06:02 PM Not quite. It's 3% as non-Scientific, 5% as Scientific. RegentMan Mar 12, 2004, 02:34 PM Originally posted by Cuivienen Not quite. It's 3% as non-Scientific, 5% as Scientific. I thought it was 2% for a non-scientific civ? ShiplordAtvar Mar 12, 2004, 02:58 PM Originally posted by Khan Quest Three. Seanirl Mar 13, 2004, 02:02 PM I haven't even got one yet. That said I've only played one game but I've been ahead in techs for a while. |
