Hello,
I couldn't find a tutorial on how to make a new intro screen (when the game first comes up).
I saw, and use, the Tomb Raider one currently.
How would I go about making one myself, as far as size requirement, coler requirement etc?
Thanks for your help

The easiest way to do it is to get a picture that is 1024x768. Then if you have paint os some photoshop file you can open it and add the text for Civilization III if you choose to. Then you can save it in PCX format. Make sure there are no layers and that it is saved at about 254 colors. Any more than that and sometimes you get transparency issues. I use GIMP to do mine.

This is not the way to do it in Photoshop (I know) or PSP (AFAIK). :nono:
Save it with 256 colours, and make sure that the first two (photoshop)/last two (PSP) isn't used in the picture. These are usually magenta and green. If you use Photoshop I have a link to a tutorial in my sig.

It works in GIMP. It's how I've done all of my own. I guess GIMP is different then. I used GIMP tutorials ontheir site and they have worked for me. Sorry if I was no help.

As the Australians say: No worries, mate!
