I have had Civ III since it came out and have really enjoyed creating my own scenarios with the CivEditor. I installed Conquests, and now the Resource button and menu options are always grayed out, so I cannot build scenarios, and when I launch the editor, I get a not valid Civ file error. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled CIII. Everything worked great. I installed Conquests and, again, the Resource problem and the error. I got the latest patch and installed it and it did not fix the issue. I have a P4 3.06 ghz with a gig of ram, ATI All-In-Wonder 9700 video card with the latest drivers. What am I missing here?
