Thinking of buyin' this

Is it the old Xcom UFO defense (i hope so)
or should I keep my money?

It's IMHO quite good, though not quite as good as the original was. But the gameplay is very similar to the original except that it's real time (but with pause-mode, so you pause, give commands and go on)

You're playing the last remains of the human civilization after aliens launched a spore attack on earth, now it's time to fight back ;)

Especially later in the game when you get nasty weapons like the minigun it gets really cool :D

I liked it. But it was a "play once" deal. Couldn't see how
replaying would be a much different experience.
