A friend of mine got PTW so he could play with me online, but it won't update to 1.27f
He has tried numerous times, at defauly directory entries, but nothing seems to happen. any ideas?

Erm, only silly ones. (s)He's maybe downloaded the wrong patch. Ie, you're wanting 1.27f ;), and the one which applies to your game type. Ie the North American patch for the North American edition, and the Spanish one for the Spanish edition etc.

Silly stuff that you probably already know, but I make stupid mistakes like that quite alot :blush:

How come when I patch my uk version PTW it suddenly becomes french AND tells me that I'm missing my cd..... Gawd I'm becoming tired of the patching problems!

Maybe you downloaded the French patch accidentaly?

PS, you'll need to uninstall the other (presumably French) patch you downloaded, then install this one.
