Ok, rookie mistake... I deleted the game folders without using the uninstall and now the installer thinks the game is still there and won't install it. I really have tried to scour every trace of Civ from my computer, but it's like stomping ants... they're freaking endless.

IF you're comfortable messing with the Registry, you can search through it looking for any lines referring to Civ III, and delete them. Also be sure to remove the Installshield Installation Information folder that pertains to your Civ3. (You have to look in each folder and scan the contents of the files to determine which is correct.)

If you just stuck the files in the recycle bin, try restoring them, then using the uninstall option.
