Just recently today. My laptop has experianced a major problem with windows. Just recently when windows loads up, (After the Windows XP load bar thingy is finished and the "Welcome to windows" pops in). I suddenly get the Blue Screen of Death.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

have you installed some new soft or hardware lately?. If so, you might try to load windows in safe-mode and deinstall/deactivate it to try if it causes the problem.

When I load windows in safe mode, it does the same thing as normal mode. The only way to remidy this is to reinstall windows. I have recently installed BF1942 but I doubt thats the problem.

This one and Zulu's "Wrong Forum" are pretty damn funny.

Any possibility of a rollback to the Last Known Good configuration? I don't have an XP box handy to look at the boot menu, but if you're not to the point of logging in to the desktop, the Last Known Good should probably take you back to the pre-bluescreen config.

Ohh, a BSOD with XP. I have heard about this twice now, here, and V2010 had a BSOD once. I have not had BSOD's yet, I only have an issue with "explorer.exe", but I shan't explain that all over again. I have an easy fix to my issue, so I'm happy . . .
