How come when i was on a HILL, and i hate 2 elite units, and the city is right next to the hill. 2 elite swordsmans

judging that you are advatagous if u attack form a hill, high ground, how come both of my elite swordsmans killed by a reg Spearman dood?

in the civiltopedia (whatever) it said leader arises after elite unit reaches victory. My elite dood killed several people and how come no leaders. And when my army with 3 swordsman was on a city, and the city was culture overwhelmed by surround enemy, wtf happened to my army? no one could defeated and i used it to take the heart of the enemy. this is messed i lost my after 2 turns after i took it!

I'm not sure but, I don't think attackers receive a bonus for attacking from a hill, but defenders do get a bonus for defending on a hill.

Strange things happen sometimes. I had an elite swordsman who got smacked attacking a warrior, but then a regular swordsman whupped the warrior (the warrior was at full health both times). Any given Sunday man... :)

I think there are alot of people on here that will agree with you on that one. Overall though the battles seem fair.

I didn't know you got an attacking advantage when attacking from a hill. I don't understand why you would. You do get a defending advantage if you are on a hill. I can't find anywhere that it states you get an attacking advantage.

The Civilopedia states: "Leaders are born in combat. This can occur when an elite unit wins a battle." The italicized can comes straight from the Civilopedia.
