I have a bunch of .ogg files, which can't be uploaded to an iPod (IIRC) so I'm trying to convert them to .mp3, but when I do "Save As...mp3" it says something about unable to encode or decode file format.
Help (Aphex! ;)).

Hmm... .oog's... I'm assuming that's a MAC format, because I've never heard of it :D
I don't have too much experience with Goldwave, but if you have a CD burner available, try burning the files onto a CD, then ripping them back as .mp3s, many burning utilities will elt you do that.

Goldwave is a fine program and has never failed me for converting before. :hmm:
Aphex gave it to me, I guess we'll wait for him to arrive.

wtf is a .ogg?
:)
dunno goldwave's capabilities, but maybe you need a more common format than a .ogg....
you might want to look for a .ogg tool that can convert to mp3
found this with a quick google:

I guess I'll download another program I'll only use once...*sigh*
EDIT: Hmm, maybe not. Those claim to be all-to-all converters, just like Goldwave. I'll wait and see if I can work with what I got.

goldwave could also have an update or a plug-in for that format. would be more convenient for you.
