When Civ 3 first came out I remember reading CornMaster's story of his exploits as the CornEmpire. In there he had the joke of "Battle Cows" joking about the resources and the transference of cattle to a bonus resource. If someone could make a battle cow(s) units to at least replace Horsemen, that would be hillarious and awesome! :lol:

Er... I edited that out of my post because I realised something: I can do one direction taken from the resource file, but the unit requires several directions. If someone can give me a model, I will be glad to make a suicide cow, once I install photoshop on my new computer.

Also, I'm sure an asspiring cut and paster can do the rest once we have the model ;).

What do you mean "if that's what I'm thinking of"? If AOE II has a cow unit, with the proper angles, and size, then we're ready to go (well, once I get photoshop on my new computer...).

I heard someone talking about it above. I dunno if it is II or I. I was wondering which AoE it is.

There is a cheat on AoE (I'm pretty sure the first one) that makes your catapults fire cows instead of rocks. There - sorted. It would be difficult to get a decent screenshot since they are flying through the air and spinning at the same time. And I don't have the game either.

I've been trying to get people to make a cow unit ever since FLICster was first released. Good to see that finally other people are also interested in having them made.

I have Seigecraft, which lets you toss rotten cows into the oppoments castle to spread disease. Maybe I can find the files if someone can extract and convert them?

Godf. It looks like you are getting closer to being in a position to be able to create this beast. Just think about it, you have created a number of scenarios and units etc, but your moment of crowning glory will surely come with the creation of the Suicide Cow, the ultimate bovine bomb for Civ.

And you'd have to swap the cattle and horse resources.

But why stop with the mounted units? Cows with Mounted Turrets to replace tanks!

There is a good battle cow in Diablo II - they run around weilding halbeards... I've no idea how easy it would be to export them though...

If we really wanted to get silly... we could add cow 'easter eggs'.

Such as in the city view with a building, leaderheaps, cities, on ships, amongst bombs from a place, wonder splashes... etc...

It would be a lot of work.
