We can trade contact with Persia to the "old world". Do think that the other T&T poll also includes these contact trades.

- If we trade Contact + 47 gold; we'd get Monarchy.

No one! Let's keep the continents free from each other as long as possible. On a pangaea map, everyone eventually meets everyone. Here, we can atleast keep the tech pace down somewhat by delaying contact (thus, delaying tech trades).
