AK47 Mar 26, 2004, 07:29 AM euh... bunch-o-units

Looks like I have a fan... :king:
mazzz Mar 26, 2004, 09:50 PM looks cool!
ill download it now
mazzz Mar 26, 2004, 10:09 PM i downloaded the first part, but when i click the link to get download the 2nd part all i get is a bunch of random text
AK47 Mar 27, 2004, 05:17 AM did you try again ? There's nothing wrong with the link itself.
I'm not sure, but I heard that some browsers other than Internet Explorer can not read .rar files. Maybe that's the case ?
mazzz Mar 27, 2004, 06:41 AM i use netscape, expoler does not work for me, do you now what broswer i could us to get it, i have winrar installed
AK47 Mar 27, 2004, 06:53 AM no, sorry, dunno.
Did you update to the latest version of Netscape ?
Did you try to download several times, at several moments of the day, but with the same result ?
Can you download it, but then it doesn't work, or can you just not download at all ?
Try Opera maybe (from download.com)
mazzz Mar 27, 2004, 06:57 AM nm, i got IE to work, downloading part two now
El Justo Apr 01, 2004, 10:28 PM hey...pretty cool. i'll have to check it out
mazzz Apr 01, 2004, 10:54 PM ive been playing it for a while now, its great! though maybe having a UU with no up keep it a little much, has this been tested, there is a
unit limit in the game
Revolutionary Apr 02, 2004, 12:08 AM nice :goodjob:
question you added 6 civs but did you replace any of the C3C civs? or have they change the 32 civ limit
AK47 Apr 02, 2004, 01:07 AM I had to take out 6 of the 7 C3C civs:
Byzantines, Hittites, Incans, Mayans, Portugal, Sumeria.
I kept the Dutch, but gave them a naval UU (the Schooner) instead, which I'm sure the Dutch will find more accurate...

No, the Derg Soldier has not been specifically tested for TML3. But it was already present in TML2, which got +2000 downloads. TML3 took a lot of suggestions/comments from those people into account, but nobody reported anything wrong or annoying about this unit.
Flasch186 Apr 02, 2004, 04:40 PM Can you just download and extract these and then run the game from the civ-content stuff. Or do I have to do all of the editing and stuff because I have NEVER been able to get that stuff to work?
mazzz Apr 02, 2004, 06:54 PM when I build the SS.Swat it crashes. Says it is missing at .pcx or something file
mazzz Apr 02, 2004, 11:17 PM ok I fixed it , you should update your download, go into the wonderspash folder and rename SSTsplash.pcx to SSTCsplash.pcx
that fixed it for me
AK47 Apr 03, 2004, 01:26 AM @ Flasch186:
yes, simple. Download, run the .exe (self-extracting) into the correct directory, load from civ content. It's explained in the .txt file on the website.
@ mazz:
yep, I know. Patch 3.1 fixes that. Also renames both the unit and the wonder, because of a storm of protests in Germany...
jzsf Apr 03, 2004, 03:29 AM Great but one question:
How can I use it? (i mean: load like a scenario or etc.?)
AK47 Apr 03, 2004, 04:38 AM Yep, loads like a scenario, via Civ-Content.
There's a full .txt file that explains everything, (including how to install and how to load) on the website.

Illnab1024 Apr 03, 2004, 09:45 AM I can just watch and wait because with AOL my transfer rate is 59 bytes per second. Did I mention I have DSL?
mazzz Apr 03, 2004, 10:11 AM if I download the 3.1 update can I keep playing my same game?
AK47 Apr 03, 2004, 10:37 AM nope, you'll have to start a new one. But you can continue your current game if you prefer. The few changes with 3.1 are listed above. That's all.

ajeez Apr 06, 2004, 04:04 PM Two questions..
1.When I rename the file "x_titleA.PCX" to "x_title.PCX", it says that the filename has already exist. What am I doing wrong?
2. How to uninstall the Missing Links without having to uninstall the whole game?
AK47 Apr 06, 2004, 04:07 PM 1. the TML screen is now called "x_title.pcx". You have to rename or delete that one first.
2. why would you wanna do that ? :D
daufoi Apr 06, 2004, 09:39 PM can you post the title screen by itself?
Ex-Cop Apr 06, 2004, 11:54 PM Very good mod man. Hats off. I like what you did with governmets. And I also like the Time machine. What a cool idea man. I did notice something "funny" though. My cities were being attacked by Amazon assassins, and being taken by them, but we were at peace. And I couldnt do the same back!?!? Is this a flaw? Any one else get this?
Also in my current game there are Vietcong running around alongside infantry, and Crosbowmen, and Sword wielding assassins, and A Trojan horse! Funny flavours.
One last thing When you capture workers the graphics for them is staying the same. IN original C3C the captured workers looked different so one could tell them apart easier, its not doing that anymore. Was that intentional?
Any how thanks very much again for a great mod.
AK47 Apr 07, 2004, 02:38 AM @ Daufoi:
even zipped, it's still 4 times the max. attachment size. PM me your e-mail and I'll send it to you.
@ Ex-Cop:
Check civilopdedia for "hidden nationality". Indeed a flaw.
As for the workers, I hadn't even noticed yet. Not intentional. I fixed it. There will be a 3.2 patch in about 2 weeks. Thanks !

mazzz Apr 07, 2004, 11:32 PM what will be in the new 3.2 patch?
AK47 Apr 08, 2004, 02:56 AM dunno yet. This captured worker thing seems to be the only bug so far. I wanna see if something else comes up in the next 2 weeks. Oh, and I'm thinking of making the Triumphal Arch obsolete with Gunpowder rather than Military tradition. Not sure yet.
elhanna Apr 16, 2004, 12:49 PM AK, I have a problem when trying to start a game using your mod, it crashes telling me: missing entry in "text\Pedialcons.txt": ICON_BLDG_Ka'ba.
I sent you a mail about it and I thought that it wouldn't do any harm to post my problem here. May be someone else encountered the same thingh?
AK47 Apr 16, 2004, 04:30 PM yep, I've seen this before. Normally, it means you've installed in the wrong directory.
Pls check: the folder "TML3" as well as "TML3.biq" should be in the directory c:\...\Civilization III\Conquests\Scenarios.
Sword_Of_Geddon Apr 16, 2004, 09:47 PM From one fellow modder to another AK47, I have to say I owe you.
Why? Because many of your ideas were used in "Far Horizons" my up in coming mod.
I hope you don't mind, but I have the Ethiopeans(I'm also using Sween's leaderhead) in my mod as well. This is due to the fact that I wanted a solid African culture group in the mod, and I felt just having the Zulu and Nubians wasn't enough.
I'm also using the Derg Soldier(renamed Dawa Soldier) although I'm thinking of changing that because I'm already using the great Civilipedia entry you wrote(do I have your permission?).
But I am curious how you got a wonder to produce a great leader? I wanted to employ a similiar effect(only with the Scientific Great Leaders), but I couldn't find Scientific Leader in the unit selection menu.
elhanna Apr 17, 2004, 01:54 PM Thanks for that AK, I got the mod to work. Your help was very much appreciated.
A +
AK47 May 03, 2004, 07:55 AM Hi all,
New patch (3.2) is ready. Should be the final.
Here's what it does:
* Plague settings are less intensive
* Triumphal Arch now obsolete with gunpowder
* Refrigeration is cheaper
* Captured workers have different graphs
* Suicide Bomber has increased bombard strength (12)
* Attack Chopper has increased attack (10) and bombard (8)
* RPG Soldier has increased bombard (10) and air defense (3)
* Stealth Fighter has increased bombard (8).

Fellowman May 07, 2004, 07:37 AM Can't you do a TMS World map?
(my first post at this forum!)
AK47 May 07, 2004, 01:52 PM
not really sure I understand the question. If you want to play TML on an existing world map, you just have to import that map into the TML3.biq via the editor.
Civslayer4sure May 07, 2004, 09:37 PM Hi. Looking forward to trying the scenario. It looks in depth and well thought out. I downloaded both files at the site and they self extracted to the conquest folder. I looked for the biq file you indicated would be in scenarios. It's not there. Am I missing something?

please look for the folder "TML3" and the "TML3.Biq". These should end up together in the ..\Conquests\Scenarios folder. If they are not there, you didn't type the correct path in the install (extraction) screen.
mazzz May 11, 2004, 09:17 PM Every time I build the Triumphal Arch it becomes obsolete before 25 turns
runedot May 11, 2004, 11:55 PM Every time I build the Triumphal Arch it becomes obsolete before 25 turns
Mine went obsolete in 26 turns, I postponed the tech advance for 2 turns...
AK47 May 15, 2004, 04:36 AM hmm, try playing a more difficult level ?
Or "change" the way you organise your advancing ; invent or trade "gunpowder" only after you got 2 or 3 armies (I usually get 3).
mazzz May 15, 2004, 09:08 AM ok, but if you play on a more difficult level doesnt the make the techs go faster?
AK47 May 16, 2004, 04:22 PM hmmm, don't think so.
I notice for myself that, playing easier levels, we all have Flight by the 1600s, whereas in the more difficult ones, it's more like the 1800s.
AK47 May 16, 2004, 04:22 PM For anyone who has the problem with the Sam_02 file missing (Flanders):
solved in final version.
Simna May 22, 2004, 03:29 PM Hej!
I’m just about to enhance my Civ III with the Missing Links Mod v3.2, but should I use the latest Conquests v 1.22 patch and what is the Blue Interface Update?
Lev väl.
Staffan
AK47 May 23, 2004, 07:14 AM TML3 was made under 1.15, but so far I haven't heard anyone complain that it doesn't work under 1.22.
CCJ's blue interface changes your Civilization screens (diplomac, tech tree, city screen etc.) from the standard "beige" to blue/green. You need the full C3C version first from the website, and then the specific patch for TML
Simna May 24, 2004, 09:35 AM Thanks AK47, I'll try it with 1.22.
Lev väl.
Simna May 28, 2004, 09:00 AM Hej!
I have come across some strange things;
When I disband a Gladiator unit I don't get any shields back.
The Terrorist unit can't destroy improvements and can't attack cities.
...or is this the way it should work?
I use the Conquests patch 1.22.
This mod is very impressive one. I like it a lot. Good work. :goodjob:
Lev väl.
Simna
AK47 May 28, 2004, 10:26 AM * The Gladiator is "a cheap slave unit" meaning it doesn't cost you anything per turn for maintenance, but you also get no shields when disbanding it.
* the invisible units can not destroy improvements... that would be too easy ;)
* units with hidden nationality can only attack a foreign city after oyu declare war (see "nationality" in the civilopedia)
:goodjob:
Simna May 28, 2004, 11:10 AM Hej!
OK I understand.
(But sometimes when everything and everyone seems to be against you, you want it to be "too easy" ;) )
Thanks for your fast reply, and once again, thank you :king: for a super-mod.

Jeff1787 May 28, 2004, 12:30 PM I am going to use your mod with a world map. If I do an import and just check the map selection box only and then manually place all of the starting cities, will that work?
Roluce May 28, 2004, 03:54 PM The problem with that would be the extra resources available. You would need to place them on the map in appropriate amounts.
Jeff1787 May 28, 2004, 05:36 PM I tryed it with El Mencey's world map and the resources seen fine. Also, I think I placed the correct the starting locations of all 31 civs.
Amenhotep7 May 28, 2004, 06:14 PM Love this mod!:goodjob:
And btw, could you do that same title screen, but with "Conquests" on it instead of The Missing Links. I'd like to use it as my regular title screen.:)
zulu9812 May 29, 2004, 01:39 AM here's the title screen:
Do you think we could get a version with out "The Missing Links"? I'd quite like to use this title screen for my own personal mod.
Simna May 31, 2004, 09:45 AM Hej AK47!
I can’t upgrade Warriors or Swordsmen to Medieval Infantry but I can upgrade Spearmen to Pikemen. The Iron source is just outside my city, connected with a road, I have build Barracks and I’ve got the money.
It takes fewer turns to build the Cathedral (160 shields) than the Colosseum (120 shields).
Using Conquests patch 1.22.

Re-occuring problem (check higher in this thread): you've installed it in the wrong directory (you need to type in or copy paste the exact directory to extract when installing)
Pls check: the folder TML3 as well as the TML3.biq file should be in the ...\Conquests\Scenarios folder.

woodelf Jul 18, 2004, 05:42 PM Love the mod. Anyone else playing it? Any further updates, enhancements, ect?

Khift Jul 23, 2004, 08:35 PM I can't say I agree with the entire mod (I don't like most mods that change the rules or add new content, I guess I'm just picky that way) but I've gotta say that I really like the Trireme and Galleass units. I really believe that the Galley dominates the seas for far too long and makes early naval warfare very boring. This adds a little spice to things. Of course, things would have to be scooted around for things to fit, to make the whole continuity of things look better.
Curragh (1/1/2/Coast)
Galley (1/2/3/Coast)
Trireme (2/2/3/Coast) No bombard
Dromon (3/2/3/Coast) Replaces Trireme
Galleass (3/2/4/Coast) No bombard
Caravel (1/3/5/Sea)
Frigate (4/3/5/Ocean)
Privateer (4/2/5/Ocean)
Galleon (2/3/5/Ocean)
Man-O-War (6/4/5/Ocean) Replaces Frigate
Ironclad (8/8/4/Ocean)
Destroyer (14/10/9/Ocean)
Cruiser (17/12/8/Ocean)
Aegis Cruiser (17/13/9/Ocean)
Battleship (20/15/7/Ocean)
woodelf Jul 26, 2004, 03:58 PM Any plans to change the fact that assassins can actually conquer cities? Or at least not let you or the AI steal an entire city without penalty? It's odd to get the "terrible" news about losing a city without being at war.
AK47 Aug 01, 2004, 04:41 PM check the civpedia on "hidden nationality"; unfortunately this is a bug within the hard programming, and although I would like to, there's nothing I can do to change that.
Tboy Aug 08, 2004, 09:06 AM Hi. 2 things:
1.Every so often, one of my saves on your mod comes up with "INVALID SAVE FILE" when I try to load it.
2.Why do the amazons have a separate settler from the others? There's no stat difference.
AK47 Aug 16, 2004, 11:42 AM Hello Tboy,
As for your first problem, I'm not really sure. I don't think it's mod related, as nobody mentioned this yet. What has happened similar to this is with 3 guys playing TML3 PBEM. 1 of them also had this error message. It turned out that the problem was that someone was saving the games with C3C1.15 and the other had C3C1.22. That caused problems. Maybe that's it?
As for the Amazon Settler, nope she ain't any different from standard settlers, except the graphics. I put this graphic in on special request for CCJ39, the guy who does the website that hosts my mod.
(brilliant website, BTW, make sure you check it out www.CCJ39.com (http://www.CCJ39.com)
:p
AK.
Tboy Oct 02, 2004, 03:20 AM Thanks. Haven't had the error for ages, might be that I've uploaded Patch v1.22. Love the mod, by the way.
Tboy Oct 25, 2004, 06:41 AM Look, there are 2 BIG problems here
1.The AI can attack and conquer cities with prophets and assassins without declaring war (maybe others, don't know yet) and the human can't! I know you said you couldn't stop this in an earlier post, but there must be a way!
2.When they can, the computer MASS PRODUCES (and I mean MASS) prophets and assassins (but strangely, not monks). It drives me MAD!!!
Tboy Oct 28, 2004, 03:38 AM NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

Go to Autosave dirctory and load your last game.
(how to: click LOAD GAME, go up, choose the folder Auto, enter it, choose your last turn autosave)
This way you can skip this problem, I guess...
Portuguese Oct 28, 2004, 11:02 AM PS: Excellent MOD and excellent page. I prefer more complete mods (that really change the game...), but this one has Many Interesting new things, concepts, wonders, CIVs and Units that I may add to others.
We owe you a lot!!! :D ;)
Tboy Nov 08, 2004, 04:00 AM Good idea Portugese. If it works, I will worship you!!! :thanx: :worship: :thanx: :worship:
Tboy Nov 13, 2004, 12:48 PM Look I don't know why I'm putting this here, but... how do you add cities in the editor?
#1 Person Nov 23, 2004, 05:26 AM tboy's question one is what i want to know. last game i lost 7 cities to assiasins without being at war with anybody and yet i cannot attack the other person. But at least i started a new game with no canibas on my continent.
Eva Nov 26, 2004, 02:48 AM Hi....
Love your mod.I even like it better than the RAR mod because more is less. The RAR mod although brilliant is just way too much to get your head around.Yours is just right in my humble opinion.
All the new improvements are nicely implemented. All the graphics are finished and terrific. What a great job.
Just a couple of questions ...
In the read me there is no mention of the culture points for the wonders ?
Also I let the kids play civ and I had to shange the cannabis luxury to copper strategic and also the brothel I changed to a tavern. Will this effect your play balance at all?
If anyone wants this changed mod let me know.Nothing else has been changed though.
Also I have added some explanations bars to the wonder pics to match my current ones.
As below....
http://www.hothair.com.au/splash.jpg
Hope you don't mind my alterations.
AK47 Nov 26, 2004, 12:01 PM Well, well, well...
Didn't know this thread was still going...
I think my internetprovider blocks CFC mails as junk or so now...
Actually I haven't been on this forum in ages...
Spent a lot of time buying a house, renovating it etc... grownup stuff (yes, I really am that old :p )
@ Tboy:
1/ if I was God, I would, believe me! I don't think it's fair either...
AI's can attack and capture cities with invisible units, stupid humans can not (unless you declare war). I already asked Atari twice to do something about that, but I was kindly ignored... Try playing it online with only humans: then the same applies to all of ya.
2/ you're still like the only one who really mentions this problem... (after +4000 downloads). Where do you live? Maybe I can come and sort it out at your home :king:
@ Portuguese, thank you for all the positive comments. Always nice to hear my 220 hours of work are still appreciated ;)
@ Eva: no problem, dudess. You can change whatever you like. Nothing you changed will chnage the game balance. I know TML3 is not as "politically correct" as civ standard. BTW, the "Shock Trooper" unit originally was called "Waffen SS", created by the "SS Training Camp", but I had to change that and get rid of the SS symbols after a storm of protests on the German civ website...
Thanks all and keep playing!
AK47 Mar 25, 2005, 10:17 AM 'ello,
somewhere along the way, I lost the correct image for TML3 "science_industrial". As a lot of you have probably noticed, a lot of the arrows are not in the right place (final download v3.2
The first 2 versions (3.0 and 3.1) did have the correct file. Any chance someone was in the first 1000 downloads and still has a correct display of the arrows in Industrial era?
If so, can you pls attach it to this thread?
The file is called science_industrial.pcx and is in the Conquests\Scenarios\TML3\Art\Advisors folder.
Thanks for checking :goodjob:
AK.
AK47 Apr 09, 2005, 05:56 AM hmmm... no reaction yet.
Could anyone reading this please check if they still have the correct science_industrial.pcx?
I would really appreciate.
Thanks.
AK.
Dionysis Apr 09, 2005, 10:58 AM The file is dated Feb. 20, 2004 so hope this is the one you are looking for...
BTW, nice mod! :)
AK47 Apr 18, 2005, 01:44 PM Hi,
actually, the file I had was exactly the same, so at first I couldn't figure it out, but now I did. There's nothing wrong with the file, it has to do with Atari changing the industrial tech tree in C3C v1.22. So:
If anyone has the Industrial tech tree displaying wrong, go to the folder

Landmonitor Apr 19, 2005, 12:15 PM Hello!
This was the first mod I ever downloaded (around Sept), and I really like it! The extra wonders (great and small) are really cool, and I almost tore my sides open laughing the first time a terminator levelled up.
About the unlimited Assassins thing: I thought it wasn't too bad once I understood that I needed 2+ pikemen in each city, it just became the new status quo and I tried to expand as much as possible before Islam came out. It just changed the way I had to think. I also really liked the black color instead of white for barbarians. As for late game with terrorists, I thought it was fun to set up barricades with 1 special ops and 2 modern inf every 5 sqaures or so along my railroads, it added to the game, in my opinion. I also got alot of leaders out of terrorists (I named one 'Hamas' and it got killed the same day Arafat died, which really spooked me!).
The APC/Modern Infantry concept was also very cool. I'm now playing a R&R game and that's once concept I wish they would have included that. You also mentioned earlier that Germans complained about including Waffen SS in the game, and I tend to agree with them, being of German descent myself. The swastika on the Fascism tech kinda bothered me to, but that's a personal opinion.
All in all, a really good mod, I had no problems with it working, except that it annoyed me that I couldn't put APCs in boats (although I can see the problem there with putting full APCs in transports and moving 30 units per boat!), but there's precious little time, and after playing two large maps through, I've gotta finish a couple of R&R games then check out MOM, WH, and RHYSE.
Thanks!
Landmonitor Apr 19, 2005, 12:20 PM One other thing! Food supplies! Those REALLY pissed me off! I researched refrigeration right away, and when I saw about 2 or 3 supplies per continent and maybe 6 worldwide, I felt really ripped off! Those should have been more abundant in my opinion.
That's it!
Azmorg Apr 20, 2005, 12:26 PM How did you make the image for the title screen?
It's terrific!
AK47 Apr 20, 2005, 01:30 PM @ Landmonitor:
Thanks for the (mostly) positive comments. Always very encouraging. BTW - I agree with you on the amount of Food Supplies (although it's not as bad as you describe), but for bonus resources, the editor doesn't let you determine the amount that will appear; it's the same for all bonus resources. As for making it a strategic resource, I'm not really sure how it would work, because you can trade strategic resources. I'm not sure what the effect would be from trading Food Supplies, if any.
@Azmorg:
The title screen is part of a somewhat larger image made by a 3D artist called Decadence. I found it on the internet and thought immediately that it would be an ideal title screen for civ. Decadence gave me permission to use it. And then it still took me like 4-5hrs of work to transform the image into the title screen, using PSP8.0

Landmonitor Apr 20, 2005, 01:58 PM I didn't suggest making them a strategic resource! What I did think would be good (but didn't mention) was if workers could "build" food supplies, but that's probable impossible due to hard coding, and if it were possible, would be unbalancing unless they were limited to 1 per 5 cities or something (like armies).
rhn31983 May 28, 2005, 07:12 PM i cant install it as a 2 part thing is there anyway u can give the whole thing in one part and the read me text document doesnt help.
AK47 May 29, 2005, 06:03 AM euh, yes you can.
Clicking on the first file (the .exe) will automatically install the 2nd file (the .rar) as well. No need to try and extract it separately.

Trajan22 Jul 05, 2005, 06:48 PM I liked the mod for the most part. It appears that the AI cities expand faster then player cities. I don't know if that is just me or something about the game. Additionally, I did like the idea of the Assasins when I first started. However, for over 1000 years (game time of course), probably longer, all I could do was prepare for these incessant AI assasin attacks. All they would do was steal my workers....and that turned into a battle of worker stealing both by the AI and myself. So what have I concluded? I don't really like having to worry about an AI opponent constantly stealing my workers. Other than that..I like it.....So, how do I change that? I have tried to change the mod...and after it is saved, it says it is missing some pedia file...for the Kaba or something like that.
AK47 Jul 06, 2005, 01:44 PM Try this first; it's my own personal "final version". Among other things, Assassins and Terrorists are more expensive, so less frequent.
If they still bother you, turn of their "hidden nationality" in the unit abilities.

Landmonitor Jul 06, 2005, 02:41 PM I've never even tried to mod a civ file, but I remember reading that there is a limit to the number of armies you can have which is determined by the number of cities in your civ. If this restriction can be applied to any unit (and therefore Assassins/Terrorists), maybe that could slow down the AI's overuse of them?
Morfos Jul 18, 2005, 01:14 AM How do I use this modpack. How do you use complete modpacks?
AK47 Jul 25, 2005, 02:01 PM eu...
1/ download it;
2/ follow the install instructions.
3/ Then read the .txt file explaining what the mod does with the game
and 4/ play :p
lord_graywolfe Aug 13, 2005, 10:29 PM hi there i like the sound of your mod and i downloaded it but its not working for me it gives me an error when i try to play it. says it can find a file for a transport. now when i run part one is it suppose to automaticly do part 2 after it ? i tried running part 2 myself and when i ran it through a rar decoder it told me that it was damaged and needed a par file to correct it. any ideas how to correct or get around this. thanks for any help
AK47 Aug 19, 2005, 09:53 AM only run part1 (the .exe) , which will automatically extract everything from part 1 and 2.
lord_graywolfe Aug 19, 2005, 10:07 PM well i did that the first time but when i tried to play it gave me an error because a file was missing from part 2 and shut the game down. is there another place to download this from that might have it all?
kevin2350 Oct 10, 2005, 12:22 AM Thanks.
Looks like I have a fan... :king:

Donkey Puncher Dec 07, 2005, 12:35 AM I have never use winrar when I download it where do I put the winrar program ( which file on my computer)
jrc3j Dec 28, 2005, 09:36 AM Text file looks greta. Will it work on PTW (ver 1.27f)?
Thanks
AK47 Jan 14, 2006, 04:46 PM eu, sorry for the delay:rolleyes:
nope, doesn't work on PTW, only Conquests.
and it doesn't matter where you download the .rar to. Just clicking the .exe will self-extract both the .exe and the .rar
Really easy.
Ciao.

CivConquerer Apr 03, 2008, 02:38 PM I want to try this Mod but when I click on the link in the first post I get a 404 in German. Is the download hosted anywhere else? Is the creator still active in the forums?
PaGe Apr 04, 2008, 06:56 AM I think it's still up, but you have to register now.
Try this link:

Moosezilla Apr 05, 2008, 09:32 AM no DL there! maybe someone can upload it so we can enjoy?
AK47 Apr 09, 2008, 01:34 PM Nope, I'm no longer active here. Unfortunately, it seems CCJ39 has made his website downloads available to members only. Not even sure if TML3 is still on there. I have of course the original file, but it's like 50MB (zipped) and I have nowhere to put it for downloading. It is a good Mod though (even if I say so myself:king:) - I remember it got like +6000 downloads in the first few months or so.

Size matters not. I, and possibly some others, would appreciate it if you, or anybody, who has the installer file would post it again on a site such as megaupload or other such site.
AK47 Apr 20, 2008, 02:05 PM OK, I tried to put it on megaupload, and hope I got it right; try here:

geminisama Apr 21, 2008, 11:22 AM Just started up the game, and was pleased to find 3 herb resources near my capital! Finally, a resource that actually MAKES your citizens happy. :P Have you thought about adding Opium to the list of resources? Other than that, I'm playing as Flanders, cause the guy looks like a hobbit/halfling from fantasy mods. XD
AK47 Apr 21, 2008, 01:43 PM Can anyone else pls confirm the new link works fine, then I'll change it on the top of this thread.

AK47 Apr 22, 2008, 01:28 PM OK - thanks guys. The download link is now updated in the first post. Enjoy playing, and if I can give some advice:
* Have your prophets/monks/special ops on the lookout for stealth units
* Watch those assassins in the middle ages; you don't wanna trade cannabis with your neighbours!
