continued problem
thanks fo r the suggestion...this last time i played, i got the error message "civilazion 3 has caused an error in civilization3.exe and will now shut down" it too suggests restarting the computer, which does NOTHING to solve the problem

i uninstalled and re-installed the game again, along with patch 129...i am getting vey cranky bout this.

yes, it's worked just fine, as have all the other civ games. i checked my sound card diverrs, and according to the webblaster site, it's as updated as it gets.
just to fill in any other gaps i have an 1100mhz amd thunderbird chip, win me, and 376mb ram, and an nvidia gefrorce 64mb ddr video card. i am lost here
