For some reason, I am unable to uninstall the Civ3 program. The install wizard says that the program has been uninstalled, but then I am unable to reinstall the program. I am stuck in some kind of limbo. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Unfortunately I am suffering frpm the same problem. Civ3 will not uninstall. I manually deleted all files including registry items but it still came up doing the same thing

I was having the same problem, I just came up with the solution. There are two registry links that must be deleted, on of which is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Infogrames and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr
entVersion\Uninstall\This is a number code on of the folders at the top. Click on the first couple and you will see a CivIII title on the left

Just delete both of these folders, and the folder in the program files and it will work.
