On my dad's Dell Inspiron 5100, we put Conquests on.
Whenever we want to play a lan game, he hits the Local Area Network button and the game starts lagging, until it freezes.

The computer meets all requirements, and has the latest version of DirectX.

IIRC, the Lan version of the game might still be buggy. Have you patched to v1.22?

Yeah, when I did that It did the same thing, so I took it back to 1.00.
