Since I started PBEM I have realized many die because one player dropped.

This danger can be limited I think provided :

1/ the creator of the PBEM keeps track of all passwords.
2/ the creator of the PBEM is not the dropper
3/ replacement players can be found.

The aim of this thread is to find replacement players easily.

If your game needs a replacement, please post the name of your game, its thread, a description of it and maybe of the situation and say how the person interested must/can contact you.

When/if the replacement player is found, please state it by EDITING your post, not by posting another one. That way, would-be replacement players can easily find what could interest them, and know whether a player is still needed or not by simply browsing the list and especially the latest posts.

This thread is supposed to be of help, obviously it is not compulsory but I hope it can save some PBEMs. :)

Actually this thread is normally only for current PBEMs looking for a replacement, not for players' availability which fits more in the "PBEM C3C Player Registry" created by WarningU2.

But Yamamoto, if you are interested in a Napoleoninc PBEM, a player has dropped before the second turn of Nelson, so it is still a fresh PBEM and I don't think you have played in that kind of PBEM yet.

If you're interested take a look. It's a fairly complex game with an interesting scenario. The Irish are fairly easy to play as they are a small power. The English are more challenging and in a difficult position at the moment since they are being invaded by the Scots.

It's an exciting and complex scenario created by Loulong. The offering position is either English or Irish, since the other sub is flexible. The English are under major attack by the Scots, but they are technologically ahead. The Irish have driven the English out of Ireland, but are technologically backwards.

We are running with 8 human players and we're looking for someone reliable to complete the game. We're still in the first 1/3 of the game so nothing has been decided yet.

This game, before a recent hiatus down to RL issues, was very fast moving and, apart from two breaks, averaged pretty much a turn per day over the 200+ moves.

Game is in early/middle Industrial Ages. China is fair militarily, with a previously victorious army. Has to decide whether to cooperate with or conquer the neighbouring Iroquois, with a previously baleful, but now peacefully reformed England looming in the background.
