Zeekater Apr 17, 2004, 07:01 AM Is there something wrong with the link? I can't seem to open it. Could you perhaps download it to the cfc server, that'd be much easier.
oiled snake Apr 17, 2004, 11:04 AM eheheh
tnx frenchman ;)
And Zeekater, there was a small problem on server.
But it works now!!! I just test it... :)
Zeekater Apr 17, 2004, 11:28 AM Another question, what unit is it a munit from? i don't remember seeing this before. :)

I downloaded & opened it fine - how many times have you tried d/l it?
oiled snake Apr 17, 2004, 12:09 PM Well Zeekater, originally , i created a unit called "Voluntário da Pátria".
They fought at Plata War.
You can see it at this link:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78971&perpage=20&display=&pagenumber=1
You also can download it on link "Voluntário da Pátria" at first post on this thread.
I just didn't posted it on cfc yet cause it's mod is not all complete.
So, based on "voluntário da pátria" i created possible specs munit of it. :) :goodjob:
Zulu, as you already downloaded it, what did y think about this unit?
Zeekater Apr 17, 2004, 02:58 PM Well, i downloaded it as soon as he said the link was fixed :)
the unit looks great, but is it a conversion from one of the conquests napoleonic europe units? the animations look familiar.
oiled snake Apr 17, 2004, 06:31 PM Yep!
You're right... :goodjob:
It's a unit created based on infantry from napoleonic scenario of c3c.

In Brazil we speak portuguese, and oiled will post it here when the Plata Mod is finished.
Kal-el May 11, 2004, 10:50 AM the links only lead to the blue jacketed version, which is very nice, but it would also be nice to be able to get our hands on the all white version.
oiled snake May 11, 2004, 10:14 PM Tnx Kal-el.
;)
I'll be posting the original version, the blue jacketed, in soon. I'm just finishing a new Mod...
W.i.n.t.e.r May 12, 2004, 08:55 AM Wow- I really missed out this unit - I mean I had seen it some months back before it was released- and all the C3C concerns... are there more units like this going to appear at your Fórum Civ3 do Brasil ??? This is really good :) and shows how a change of a small detail can create an entirelly new unit- and with it a brand new world :goodjob:
oiled snake May 12, 2004, 05:21 PM Well,

Eh, eh. eh...
tnx W.i.n.t.e.r
Well, just answering your question.
We have some guys working with mods. Some of them only copy and paste, others are working with some 3D softwares.
At this moment i'm studying Rhino and Poser. Working in another unit, making our GOTM and other modpack...
:)
Martinek Sep 20, 2004, 06:21 AM Well, that Unit is great! :goodjob: No doubt about. But is it possible to get them without this green? Or better, how can i get rid of it in the game?
kulade Sep 20, 2004, 03:26 PM Put the unit in game and it will look much better. That color screw-up is a natural side-effect of FLICster.
Martinek Sep 21, 2004, 01:22 AM I put it in game but this green was still there and it's really disturbing.
Does it work with Snoops Terrain Mod? Maybe that's the problem. (Or this german version of the game  )
kulade Sep 23, 2004, 03:07 PM The graphics modpacks don't matter, It could possibly be the german version difference...

"this green" that you say means the shadows?
Well, i did several test before post it here, and there was any kind of troubles.
As Kulade said, it could be a problem on german version, but i can't say rightly, in fact. I've tested it on an english version of the game.
kulade Oct 18, 2004, 05:03 PM EDIT: nevermind
Manny Kant Oct 23, 2004, 01:54 AM 1) Didn't notice any problems.
2) Awesome unit. That'll teach those primitive (yet elite) units for trying to take a Colonial city.
oiled snake Oct 26, 2004, 06:20 AM lol
thx man!
;) :goodjob:
