I was reading an IGN preview of Rise of Nation's upcoming expansion pack; Thrones and Patriots, units. On the third page I found an interesting unit which would be a good flavor unit for the Portuguese.

There are many other units from Rise of Nations and it's expansion pack which should be made for Civ3.

American, Aztec, Bantu (Zulu), Chinese, Dutch, Egyptian, English, French, German, Greek, Incan, Indian, Iroquois, Lakotan (Sioux), Japanese, Korean, Mayan, Mongol, Nubian, Persian, Roman, Russian, Spanish, Turkish units. Historical and some fictional.

Great! Do you have a link to the units discussion thread? I guess I could look for it myself, Spanish and Portuguese seem pretty similar, and I took Spanish for a few years.

I found the Brazil Civilization Project and the Bandeirante unit uses to American Minuteman's graphics... eh?
