There are lots of very cool unit animations out here, especialy I like aaglo's sailig ships. But in Civ3 there seems to be also some strange problems for using all these wonderfull ships. For example this: Will a "naval artillery unit" work?

I have made a unit with low A/D stats and "high" bombardment and fire rate. If human player (I ;)) use this unit it works fine. But if AI use this, they will run in to a kamikaze action, becouse they use the normal attack instad of the bombard. Is there a chance to make sure, such AI ships will mainly bombard (other ships!) and NOT attack the "normal" way?

you could flag them as artillery units?
you could remove their normal attack (attack = 0)?
(these are just suggestions)...

Unfortunately flag this unit as artillery would not work, becouse it's a naval unit. Making attack=0 (and/or def=0) will result in a transport AI ship, wich don't attack. :(
