Your work is definitely appreciated! As for your personal life I can't say too much as I don't know the situation, but I can extend my sypathies and support.

Heavens knows we need more 1900-1950 era ships (espically battleships and Aircraft carriers) Since Akula refuses to release hers.

of the WW2 Pacific conquest.

So very true Stainz.

As u know some were in the ptw version of SOE, really haven't added any new ones to the c3c version. What i do have left goes into the SOP mod.

Well, for one thing. I cant wait for the Destroyer with the 4 smoke stacks and the Pola Ship :D

I can certanly use the Pola Ship as a WWI Dreadnought Battleship and the 4 smoke stacked destroyer as a Coal powered version of the destroyer :D

Wyrmshadow

The Pola is a Zara class Italian Heavy Cruiser.

USS Utah, Florida class Dreadknought. Built in 1909 the 2 ships both served in WW1, but when ww2 rolled around, the Utah was serving as a target ship, all armaments removed, and she was torpedoes during the Pearl Harbor attack. So I had to take the model I got, and add weapons not to mention interpolate a texture map because the one I got was corrupted.

Hey wyrmshadow,

In the post #12 you showed a pic of a ship with orange/white-striped bow. I was just wondering: would you know why is the bow of that ship painted that way? (I think I've never seen such paint jobs).

MarineCorps

mmmmmmmmm, I have never seen that before either. The closest that I have come to seeing that was the black and white stripes painted on the side. FOr some reason they thought that would act as camo :crazyeye:

I think you mean those b&w stripes, that are somewhat irregular (so it makes very hard to see how many ships are there, and where is their bow pointing towards). I've seen them too, and they look really odd - and they could work quite well in unclear conditions.

That's an Italian ship. My guess was that it was for identification from the air sothat their own planes would not bomb them.

Where is there a WWII destroyer such as the Fletcher class? Or anything similar. I've always felt that the stock civ3 destroyer as too modern, so an early cold-war class would also do.

Specifically a fletcher class has been last seen at CDG anchorage - also made by Mr. Wyrmshadow- feel free to take a look :)
