I keep getting a message saying "can't uninstall older or non ATI drivers-piss off'

Well the piss off part isn't there but it is how I am feeling.

I have tryed unistalling the old video driver thru the control panel/ati uninstaller with new driver, thru the setting menu "roll back, update, uninstall driver" screen.

I even tryed deleting the darn thing manually and it came back.It won't go away. Its the driver from hell

Any ideas or should I get an excorcist?

Guess I'll go with the excorcist. My mates think I'm nuts."Just uninstall the thing. Its simple"

To think this all happened cuz I got a game on my box of Cheerios

eh.. Yeah... I've no idea what it could be...

Try calling ATI or e-mailing their support mail.

Oh, and don't instal games that come from Cherios boxes. :D

Yes.

I ran the usual installer when updating a driver and it says the usual "the is allready a driver it must be removed. After the cpu reboots the install will happen automatically"

So,ok.I sit...nothing happens.No reboot..nothing.

I use the control panel/add remove programs and I get that "can't remove older or non ati drivers"

I try setting/advanced/adapter/properties/driver and none of options do anything.Unistall driver just doesn't work.It seems to work but after reboot the driver is still there.
