How was Malone not suspended for that forearm shot he threw at Minn's
Martin? Is this the conspiracy that I have been hearing about how Stern
wants the big time Lakers in the finals  . This does't seem
right and he SHOULD have been suspended at least ONE game, probably TWO. :nono:

Cause it wasn't at his head. And it's Malone, not so random player.

cuz he got 2 of those points, and you need 3 to be suspended...

'cause the NBA wants the Lakers in the Finals, for better TV ratings... ;)

I don't buy the "NBA wants the Lakers in the finals" theory no matter how much I want to. Peeler got a two game suspension because he elbowed Garnett in the face after the play was over and without provocation. Malone ran through the pick with elbows raised in the course of the play and after a series of questionable but uncalled physical plays by the Wolves. It was a legit flagrant 2 but not enough for a suspension... yet. If Gary Trent had done the same thing I would also expect a flagrant 2 but no suspension, and would probably see that; Malone's two handed defence on KG in game 3 is another matter, I don't think he will get away with that in the next game. If Malone plays dirty in game four Trent could end his season and Malone knows it, it won't happen, I see a bunch of hard fouls but no thug play.
If the Wolves lose this series it will not (yet) be because of the calls but rather because of their lack of an NBA caliber healthy point guard.
