I've seen some awesome custom units floating around in the short time I've been around. I have to say: hats off to all you fine artists out there!

err- what are the credentials here ? I thought this was a unit creators nomination- and if so are we talking entirelly new units (i.e. made up from scratch) or conversions, or renderings ????

I think you should put a lower limit for unit creators. There are some out there just just made one or two and then dissapeared. I say a minumum of 10 units released. And there should be certain polls for certain areas. Why inlcude unit makers with only map makers and so on. If you start including apples and oranges then the poeple who's only talent is scenario or civelopedia writing will be begging to be included.

Well this should be the nominee screening process:

- number of nominations per category
- examination of the nominee's work (quantity, quality and type)
- discuss appreciation by the community
- final list per category (multiple categories per artist possible)

Anybody disagree?

Well I'm default winner if you just count quantity.

@W.i.n.t.e.r - They are modders. AK47 did The Missing Links mod and I can't remember offhand what Luddi vii has done.
