There are other pirates games (such as Sea Dogs 2 which isn't out yet), and I have no idea which is (or will be) better... :confused:

I don't think Sea Dogs 2 is coming out, I think they turned it into that 'Pirates of the Caribbean' game.

Well, it can be easily said that Pirates! can be an adventure/strategy/role playing game, since you can do so much. :)

From that description it looks very similar to a game called 'Cutthroats' which isn't a bad thing.

No it isn't a bad thing at all, but it'll be released on Nov 16 or sometime then. Can't wait for it. :)

Yup, I like those governor's daughters as well. Especially since you can also add your own - I suspect there will be some fan-made hotties when we get 'bored' with the basic selection... ;)

I got the game yesterday and love it!

The only thing I dislike about this game is the dance dance revolution mini game you have to do to impress the governors daughter.

For sure, you can mod your pirate to be a gal though (although we don't know how to do it, it is possible). ;)
