Has any bookworm actually put on paper (Excel) a listing of all the "standard" unit replacements for each civ.

Such as a complete listing for Germany using all avaialble units for DL like a germanic spearman, longbowman, knight and so fourth. Just standard replacement units for the normal civ slots....But for as many civs as possible.

This request isnt for links, just the knowledge that such units have been made.

That would be a good idea. Too bad I don't have excel :(

even a text list for a single civ would do nicely.

Just flavor units, no extra stuff.

I'd like to use it for a personal mod some day...and maybe other can too.

Would be really nice for making mods that add extra UUs..

He wyrm, I've been carousing through CDG and I'm very impressed.
Some excellent stuff you're making!
You're making my mod a "Never-ending story"

Hmm back to your request, can't help there. I haven't seen 40% of what's out there.
Maybe Steph or Zulu can help. Try PM-ing them.

Good work and keep 'em coming!

I've done sth like that, for my personnal mod.
So it isn't always accurate and the name of the unit could have been changed.
..
Better, Dom Pedro II has posted a thread with such list for all civs, if I remember correctly.

I dunno what ones are available, I have a private flavour mod on my pc that only deals with the five culture groups and single UUs and thats prety much covered all the basic units as well as some bonus units (such as heavy-horsemen, comes with monarchy 2/2/2).

I am having to use some of the UUs from unused civs (I only use about 12 of the lot, just mainly generic civs such as china, india, arabs and scandinavia rather than small regional civs like portugal or great britian) and there are still a few missing links.

Mostly I'd like to see more arabic/african units.

Now I can post.. finally.. geesh.

I have made several flavor unit spreadsheets on Microsoft Spreadsheet. One for all the units default to the game (including a few units I have a mod for) as well as one for a larger gunpowder line I had made up. Both of these aren't complete and some civs are blank. I'll work on it tonight and tomorrow and I'll upload it.

Well, I have an Excell spreadsheet for that, but it is a bit old

I must've deleted my full on unit one, yet my gunpowder one is doing pretty well. It is broken down upon the 32 official civs (Austria is the 32nd, it was a bonus civ made by Firaxis which is meant to replace Sumeria). The gunpowder line is Arquebusier->Musketman->Fusilier->Rifleman->Infantry->Modern Infantry, Marines->Modern Marines, and Paratrooper->Modern Paratrooper.

Several of the units have been completed thanks to unit creators and Steph who had converted units from Cossacks. Most of the units I listed aren't even made or aren't even being worked on.. they consist of rough translations (ie: Sovremennyj Morskoj = Modern Marine, Strel'va = Rifleman, Parasjutist-Desantnik = Paratrooper). If anyone has special names for units (ie: Waffen SS = German Marine, Bersagliere = Italian/Roman Fusilier) please tell me.

Arquebusier = 1500-1650 era
Musketman = 1650-1750 era
Fusilier = 1750-1850 era
Rifleman = 1850-1920 era
Infantry = 1920-1960 era
Modern Infantry = 1960-now era
Marine = 1900-1960
Modern Marine = 1960-now
Paratrooper = 1930-1960
Modern Paratrooper = 1960-now
