I recently bought this game because all my mates said do it and I did it and I found out that there is only 1 Panzer that does'nt look like Panzer adn I think that in the new game they have to put more panzer and Tiger because what's the point of only one since Wermaxt was very powerfull and mecanized
they have to put stukas too but maybe thats asking a lot for a new game...

the goal of civ3 isn't to replicate historty down to every last detail (you's make hundreds of units if you were this particular about muskets, and cavalry) the game shows a nations movement through history, and you can't get to caught up in the details to stop enjoying the game. and just out of curiosity are you sating the panzer doessn't look like a panzer, or a tank diesn't look like a panzer, or a modern armor doesn't look like a panzar

I'm sure I saw several Panzerkampfwagen including Tiger, Tiger 2 and Panther although I'm not sure about JU87(stukas)

So, on topic: I think there should be a little more variety of units in the game, but only if each has its own benefits that make it worth building, so maybe a faster panzer with less attack or without blitz or a panzer who's especially strong vs. Infantry and so on...
If only one type of panzer is the best for all actions then they don't need to put in more panzers...

Seriously tho. More units != Better or more fun game. To have more variety for every single possible tactical situation would bog down gameplay and make micromanagment even worse than it is. I feel that Civ IV should focus on less micromanagement without dumbing down the game. IF you want all kinds of units, play smac. Or smac 2.....
