View Full Version : Is there anyway to intercept enemy bombers? zhubok Nov 11, 2001, 01:10 PM Or is the only way to do that "air superiority", which is broken? luisca Nov 11, 2001, 01:50 PM Jeez, I was going to post this same message last night. I am currently doing a naval bombardment on the Chinese which are located on the only subcontinent on this map, and they just keep pounding my destroyers with their bombers. I have a bunch of jet fighters on my carriers set on air superiority which just sit around and do NOTHING! And yes, I place all my ships within the radius of the fighters (1/2 the normal flight range). Another question, if the air superiority thing DOES work, shouldn't it remain activated for a particular fighter until you cancel it?? I got so frustrated with this dumb situation that I nuked their cities that had bombers. Somebody please post a solution to this. Merci Dearmad Nov 11, 2001, 03:30 PM SOLUTION: Wait for the PATCH! :( (Back to playing Tribes for awhile awaiting this patch as my modern games are no fun until this is fixed) MattB Nov 12, 2001, 06:13 AM Yes, it's well documented that the superiority is buggered. Not sure about the SAM Missile Defence though as I have not needed to use it yet. The Integrated Defence does work though and is really cool when the red laser beam come out of space and destroys an incoming ICBM! For now though it's completely pointless building fighters - they can't do anything useful - just keep building those bombers. Cheers Matt |
