When I create a map I can't select which players will start at a paticular starting point, it's done randomly when the game starts. The editor should be able to place paticular Civ starting points rather than just a generic starting point.

I agree, this should definately be added!

It's a pain in the keister to be building a map on a Huge world, and only being able to see a teeny-tiny portion of the map. I'd like to be able to zoom out and see more of the map.

Also, a mini-map feature'd be nice, as well. I'd like to be able to see in general what the whole map looks like.
