There should be an easier way to create scenarios. Like, an idiots guide to modding, and things like that. I've always wanted to try my hand at stuff like that in CivIII, but I dont even bother to try because its way to confusing to someone with limited mental faculties to try and do in the little spare time we have in this hectic, post-911 world. Holla.

Well, Civ III scenario creation is a heck of a lot easier than Civ II scenario creation was. At least in Civ III, I can put actual cities on the map. Never did figure out how to do that in Civ II. But yes, I agree that any changes to the editor that would make scenario or modpack creation easier to figure out or less tedious to actually do would be welcome.

I agree as well. I mean, I think unit creation and so forth should be made easier and a lot less time consuming. I can spend a bunch of time modding a world full of cities, but making new units or resources with pictures and animations...no way...plus, sounds like it will take a long time, since I see unit creation threads go on for a long time.

I'd love to create scenarios with a wider array of tools availiable, but even with helpful tools from other members, I still dont have much of a clue nor the time.

Err... Civ2 designing was really easier and more intuitive than Civ3. You didn't have to bother with something like pediaicons etc. But IIRC the editor come with Fantastic Worlds. However, what use have events and nice editor options when the game cannot handle even 'vanilla' concepts at all?

Improving the editor is an absolute MUST!
I strongly agree with anything said above.
