Less than 24 hours to the start of the Euro 2004, yours truly is reporting from the capital of the realm, only to ask, where the hell are the french? And the swedes?
Sunday and Monday there are going to be played two games in Lisbon: France-England and Sweden-Bulgaria IIRC. Well, the streets ae already packed with englishmen drinking as much beer as they can, especially in squares where they can find fountains (it's almost 35º C over here...). However, I still didn't spot any frenchmen (or swedes, although those have an extra day, and I'm not gonna talk about bulgarians cause those won't bring much supporters).
Where are les bleus Marla? ;)

Maybe the french can get there quicker, or the English fans have put everyone else off going outside? :(

Maybe its because the English are so easily to spot whereas everyone else assimilates with the Portuguese.
