Though I don't think this needs its own thread. ;) phoenix_night Jun 13, 2004, 12:06 PM And now Mornar! Portuguese referee´s have many experience with that because home games  You can understand what I am talking about :mischief: -0blivion- Jun 13, 2004, 12:19 PM Jesus, there are players making a lot of challenges all over the place.. A swiss player had what seemed like a death spasm after he was 'elbowed' (better known as lightly tapped). And a croat player who didn't recieve a penalty spent the next 20 seconds banging his fists against the ground and screaming at the referee... raen Jun 13, 2004, 12:22 PM This game is very confusing, and all players complaining, and diving....They are not playing ball!! They seem kids playing... raen Jun 13, 2004, 12:24 PM This game is very confusing, and all players complaining, and diving....They are not playing ball!! They seem kids playing... Lol I rephrase, this game is a circus, did you saw the Swiss goalkeeper defending this one!! :rotfl:  Garbarsardar.jr Jun 13, 2004, 12:38 PM if referees are so attentive in the next game I see no penalties for Owen this time... Stapel Jun 13, 2004, 01:11 PM Its often hard to judge a dive from an accidental trip... True! But this was diving! @Hitro: The Dutch word for a dive? Schwalbe! ;) Garbarsardar.jr Jun 13, 2004, 01:14 PM So Prso and Mornar are the new Klinsm(e)n. Dell19 Jun 13, 2004, 03:51 PM At the time I hadn't actually seen it and it did deserve the card. I think it would be a little harsh to ban players for diving though as referees seem to have gotten used to dives at least a little bit now... |
