Ok so i tryed just messing around with a unit to try to make it differant. I copy the grid from my graphics program (gimp) and put it in paint (which is easy for me to use) But when i pasted it back into gimp and saved it it gave me this (see picture) except its "moving" lol a bunch of mumble jumble. Ive had this problem before, but ive also had it work so i donno, does anyone know what the problem is? also i have had it say to me before something about the subscript 7 (mabey 9) being messed lol so please help if you can  btw i checked the gridlines and they're not messed at all, everything is in order, it just wont work!!! Garrrr!

I'm using GIMP and paint. Do you know how to fix it?

If the number of frames per direction either on the actual storyboard or the number that the .flc file thinks is present per direction changes, then it will give you that. Example: if you use SSB and load a storyboard, then change the number of frames from what is actually contained on the storyboard, you get the same effects. Although, I've never had that problem while just pasting from one program to another, I could try and help if you posted the files or something...

BTW: I've had some problems with units myself before, some of which I couldn't fix, so I might not be able to fix it. So don't expect a miracle, but I might be able to do something...

Supa had this same problem. I think that in the end it was Gimp messing up the pcx storyboard or something.

That looks cool, but it's only shareware :(. Eh... I still have Analyzer. It's pretty good with palette work; that and Pixia (and MS Paint, but that goes without saying -yet I said it anyway)...

BTW: do the grid lines actually matter, or are they just 'guidlines' like in the resource .pcx?

I belive that they are only guidelines, ive seen some examples of units without gridlines and they work lol so im guessing its for guidelines. Ummm with the PSP, is that the full thing and if it is, does it have a like 20-day limit or somthing? ive been thinking about dloading it.

I paid for my version of Paint Shop Pro ... it's one of those powerful graphics programs that have 1001 uses that you have not realised you need yet :D

If any wants to buy Paint Shop Pro - some advice ... SEARCH FOR A DISCOUNT ON THE PRICE.

It usually goes for arround £70 but if you look around you should be able to find it at half that price (for the full version)
