This advisor, is IMHO, much preferable to the existing one in Civ 3. A very good job indeed :goodjob: !

I will try to replace all the original advisors ...

Very good! :D Do you think there is a chance that you will do individual advisors for each culture group (Mediterranean, American,...)? That would be awesome!

I have already created an asian female military advisor but it has not a big success...

I have to agree. I suggest making his neck thicker and possibly reducing the size of his head a bit. A smaller head in proportion to the shoulders will make him look broader and stronger. Some era appropriate facial hair might also make him look more like a veteran than a cadet.

That minor stuff aside... excellent work.

I think it looks fine the way it is. Besides, a lot of great military leaders weren't neccessarily big, imposing figures. Just take a look at Napoleon Bonaparte for example. ;)

:thanx: for your comments ... I will try to create an other version ... I like this one however because I wanted to create a kind of noble... I have read that Caesar had advisors with him who were nobles , for the middle ages and other ages it's the same , the king has nobles around him ... So not especially strong warriors ...
I must admit that the head is perhaps a little too big... I keep this advisor but I will present an alternative with helmets for example...
:thanx:

Hi!
When I updated my Rising Sun scenario this weekend I exchanged the old advisor tab for your new one. I really like the new version!

In order not to lose the 3D effect, though, I put the images on the original civ3 background. I only did if for the asian looking cultural advisor, but if you're curious what it looks like I included the file below.

Keep up the good work! :goodjob:

I do like the military advisor! :goodjob: He looks much tougher than the original one.
One question, though: Is there any chance that you could reduce the picture in the advisor_tab to make it more like the original heads (which do not touch the border)?

I too, think his neck is a bit thin and in comparison to his head, his shoulder seem just a little narrow. The bareheaded look is ok though.

I would suggest keeping the crew cut for ancient and modern.
And, suggest long hair for medival and medium hair(some like a banker might have) for industrial.

Good work.

IŽll give them a try, they look nice indeed. The Culture advisor may be a bit too yellowish, though.

:thanx: I'm happy you like them, the CULTURE advisor was taken from a previous post of mine which was an " asian advisor " (explanation of the "yellow" color ...) ;)

I really like your advisors, but they seemed a bit dark on my screen. I therefore created a brighter alternative version.

I hope you don't mind. Thank you for these great advisors.

Here are some previews:

Here are the files for the brighter version. All credits go to frenchman for his wonderful Advisors.

Note: You need to install frenchman's advisors first, for not all graphics have changed.
