In vanilla civ 3 I have this wierd graphical error in the science advisor screen and it wont let me choose what tech I want to research. Sorry I don't have a screenshot...it looks like the Domestic Advisor boxes at the top of its screen got printed into the top of the science advisor screen but without the text.

Also, in a completely unrelated error, I went to install the patch for Conquests, but it totally screwed everythiong up. Text wasn't displaying properly, so I attempted to reinstall. I thought I told it to reinstall without the patch, but nothing was fixed. So I uninstalled it, but now it won't reinstall. I'll get specifics later, so, any help for now would be appreciated.

i have a smiliar problem. is the world map in the bottem left all messed up along with the one in the bottem right?

Everything is fine except for the science advisor screen, but it sucks because it won't let me choose what tech I want to research. I went into the science advisor screen before I researched any techs, and I couldnt get out because it kept going "sir, our mystics need research, what shall we try?" but I couldnt select anything so it wouldnt let me out. I had to ctrl-alt-del out of the game.
