First I want to compliment you on your great page. I always go here for Civ 2 and 1 info, and now I come here for this.
I install Civ3, startup the game and it quits on me after the opening pic. I have updated all drivers (video, sound, motherboard, bios, detonators, and a few other things).
I contacted Infogrames and I got the reply of "I'm sorry - we only serve USA customers". I had to ring OzeSoft (a company owned by infogrames) at $1.80 per minute. I got a prerecorded navagation and then I finally got in contact with a guy who proceeded to say "Is Civilization III out?". No help at all!
Any suggestions?

I have Exactly the same problem !!! Tried a lot to get it to work.

I wonder if the problem lies on the cd ?

I cant find the *.ini file after install !
