i tried to re-install the game after i botched up my editing and decided it would be easier this way but i first installed civ3 (conquests was going to come next) and when i loaded the game there was no text on any screen i tired and i couldnt understand it.id thought i was missing some text files but i have no way to check them and it would be usual as my CD is not a copy or anything.regardless i tried to install conquests to see if it had the same problem and the installation went no problem but the game will not load up.please someone help me i cant live without civ! :(

Uninstall Civ/C3C, and remove the folders from the hard drive. Then reinstall it. Sounds like something glitched when you reloaded it.

ive fixed the text thing now but i still cant play conquests which is annoying.when i install it, it installs into the c:\WINDOWS folder (not where civ is) and i cant seem to change where it installs to.it didnt even install into a conquests folder instead it left random files everywhere and i cant begin to sort them out.is there anyway you can change the install directory or at least so conquests reconises where civilization is installed??
