I'm learning to save more frequently now, but was wondering if anyone else came across this.

Just as the title describes, clicking on the advisor button quits to desktop. pow, bang, boom, nothin'. it's not 100% of the time, but it sure is frequent.
Am currently trying the function keys instead of clicking the button to se if it occurs there too.

doesn't matter if it's a new game or a loaded game.

supporting details..

C3C, fully patched, on top of C3 Gold, not patched.
WinXP, fully patched.
GF4, latest Nvidia drivers.

my initial thought is to go back, uninstall, re-install C3G, patch, re-install C3C, patch.

That also happens infrequently, but just today, to me.

I haven't seen this problem, myself, but, just for the record, When you install Conquests, The Civ3/PTW you have is patched to the latest version as well. ;)

When I installed recently on my Linux box, I just did Civ3, PTW, and Conquests, followed by the v1.22 Conquests patch. Everything works fine. :)
