There is some tension and irritation amongst the citizens about the starting of the game. Well it is clear some things will need to be finished before we can actually kick off. But what are they ?

All articles of the Constitution needs to be posted and updated.
A poll has to be posted for all articles.
Perhaps a poll for the total constitution.
Nominations for officials have to be held.
Elections have to be held.

In all, this can be done in a few days. But we shouldn't forget anything. What else needs to be finished before we actually start ?

P.S. Don't worry about a DG5-forum, that is taken care of. I mean things we all can do.

we could use a NEW welcome to the demogame things, seeing as weve had all the rule changes, this may allow some newbies to participate in the elections. once we get the forums we need citizens groups. oh and polls lots of polls, for no reason but we just need them like a hole in the head ;)

What the hell are we supposed to do about nominations for mulitple postitions? I have already been nominated for more than three. And I have only accepted nomination for judiciary thus far because that in and of itself is 3 positions though the nomination thread seems to imply the three-pronged judiciary is a single nomination.

I think with the judiciary, it's (or was) the winner gets the CJ position, and the runner up gets the JA position.

We can actually proceed with Creation Day since no further moves would be made. The President creates the game using the agreed upon settings, takes screenies, and posts the save. If we want to be strict about it, we can't play an actual turnchat until the relevant articles are ratified -- but we could technically get away without the articles which don't affect game play.

IIRC things got pretty messy in the DG4 Creation Day Turnchat when some advisors did not get the chance to poll the public.

But...oh well.
