Cant install Civ 3 due to it needs the binkw32.

Downloaded the file and placed it in the system dir,
and tryed to install the game.
Guess windows just hates this game, cuz then i got the
binkw32 is incorrectly installd error
and
binkw32 can not start error

then i a run on the file with this command line "regsvr32 c:\windows\system\binkw32.dll"
Got the binkw32 is incorrectly installed in widows or
windows system dir..
and
loadlibary "c:\windows\system\binkw32.dll" faild error

windows must realy hate this game ( cant see why:) )

My os is win me..

Edit: tryed to reinstall windows... same thing happends

It might be due to the wrong version of bink32. Where did you download it from?

Problem fixed!!!

Downloaded Civ3.
no problem with that installer..

Then installed my RETAIL :) conqest
Works like a dream now

Where is the correct bink32...that may be my problem.
