Hello all!

Just purchased C3C Friday night and have been looking forward to playing it on my home LAN. It installed fine and runs single player games fine. However, when I try to host a multiplayer game it gets to set up screen but none of the buttons are visable. I cannot get any farther than this. Nothing happens if I click the exit 'X' in the lower right corner either. I have to ctrl-alt-delete and end the process to get out. I have this same problem on all versions of MP games: LAN, PBeM, hotseat.

I am patched up to 1.22 and the problem has happened on an unpatched version as well. The ports have been opened on my router. I have tried this on both my desktop (AMD 3ghz, GeForce4, 512MB RAM) and my laptop (IBM Thinkpad 600X).

Any ideas what might be going on here? I am really looking forward to playing so if anyone has an idea, let me know.

Thanks,
Greymalkin

Same thing's been happening to me. I've been trying to start a hotseat game for some time now but it's not working. I was going to post here to try to get some answers but I saw your post and that same thing's been happening to me. Unfortunately no one has answered you yet, so I'll be checking back to see when someone does.

1.22 - at least that's the little number on the lower left hand corner of the start screen

Well, I've left it on the setup screen for the last 45 minuets and the buttons are still missing. Any other ideas?

Well, after talking with tech support it seems that C3C just doesn't want to play nicve with my Linksys wireless router. :( I removed it from the loop and *bam* multiplayer setup loads properly.

Now I just have to convince my wife that C3C is a good enough reason for those cables to be running across the living room floor for a few hours! ;)

Thanks all!!
