This poll was created to find out which color you'd like to play Japan as. The choices would be the dark Green or the firebrick Red (could be seen as maroon). Keep in mind this poll is not to find out if you'd rather play with the Aztecs on the map, or that the Aztecs are the reason for the alternate Red color (maroon). This poll is based purely on aesthetics. Visually, as you play the game for the next 5 months or so, would you rather see yourself as Red or Green? Or does it matter to you?

Personally, I'll pick Red. Maroon is a personal favorite and although it is an alternate color in the game, it is dedicated to Japan.

Maroon, i set the alternate colors to defaults so every civ has a set, default colour.

I don't know. I just want to be green.

I'm not voting yet because I'm undecided.

On one hand, my favourite colour is green, so I'm inclined to go that way. On the other hand, it looks like our flag is going to be red, so maybe the whole red thing isn't so bad.

Most want red? Then Green of course. I am always going against the stream :D

Maroonish Red. It is the color of Mars, somebody's god of war. Although I always play as a pacifist, so I don't know why that should matter.

Dark red, no doubt. After all, that is what the predominant color of our flag will most likely be. ;)

i dont really mind that much, i see myself as more of a green however.

Green... I know it should be red because the flag is mostly red, but that dark green is so good... :D

I really don't care too much what the colour is. The choice that I made was Red, just because it goes with the Flag. Green would be fine by me if we went that way also. So far Red seems to be the Democraticly chosen color so far.

/me searches for a game option which lets the color be set...

Hmm, don't think we have much of a choice, unless we want to revisit random opponents at this late date ;)

I'm sorry, DaveShack, I didn't mean that this poll should determine a winner as to what color we should use, I merely wanted to see which color our citizens wanted to play as. The determining factor of whether we play as red or green is if the Aztecs are in the game. We have no control over that. Because we will have a large number of AI opponents, it is likely that the Aztecs will be playing, but who knows.

I just wanted to know how everyone felt about it. ;)
