View Full Version : Citizen Pulse: When can you attend turnchats?
Chieftess Jul 28, 2004, 06:40 AM Since the president for Term1 may be bringing back the "0'dark-30" chats, what times of the day can you attend turnchats?
Note: This assumes weekday chats. Everyone usually has time over the weekends (most people).
Cyc Jul 28, 2004, 06:52 AM It depends on which day it is, so "can" isn't really the right word. But I'm pretty much open in the evenings. BTW, do we have a chat log thread?
superpelon Jul 28, 2004, 07:00 AM i never know when im gonna be in front of my computer...
anything that falls into the 2pm-10pm timeslot for anyone in North America works for me.

Yes, right here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=94619).
BCLG100 Jul 28, 2004, 09:27 AM i voted 3pm-9pm EDT, simply because i would like to go to bed in the day i woke up in. :)
Comnenus Jul 28, 2004, 09:51 AM I voted for 12am - 6am ET and 12pm - 3pm ET because I work each day from 3pm - 12am. Now there are days I could participate in chat at other times, but those times are best for me. I expect I will be about the only one who finds those best, though.
Immortal Jul 28, 2004, 10:57 AM 9pm-6am EDT.
msz4 Jul 28, 2004, 11:02 AM 7pm-10pm GMT it is acceptable for Europe and for South and North America. I don't know what time it would be in Australia
Black_Hole Jul 28, 2004, 11:04 AM I voted for times that work in the summer(Term 1), during the school year It will be different...
basically 1 PM to 1 AM(GMT) in the summer, school year will only be in the eveing(EDT)
Epimethius Jul 28, 2004, 12:19 PM My work week:
Monday, Tueday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10 am CST to 4:30, getting home around 5.
Obviously this will change with school.
CivGeneral Jul 28, 2004, 02:14 PM Well, with me it depends on the day of the week it is. I am currently unemployed in a summer vacation and college wont start up again around September. The reason I said "It depends on the day of the week" is from Tuesday to Thursday, I take Karate classes from 6:30pm - 7:15pm (EDT). I attend 2 regular classes on Tuesday and Thursday and a Weapons/BBC class on Wendsday. (As noted in my scedual in http://www.gabrieleskaratekickbox.com/calendar/groton/groton_sch_effective_may104.PDF Requires at least an Acrobat reader to view )
I voted from 12:00pm - 12:00am EDT timespan since thoes are the normal hours that I am awake and able to attend the TCs. Once college gets started again, the hours will change depending on the classes I have.
Chieftess Jul 28, 2004, 05:03 PM Remember, this is just for this term. Most schools I think start up the last week of August, or the first week of September.
Babbler Jul 29, 2004, 12:26 AM My CEGEP will start August 23, I believe. And Monday will my most busyest of days and Wesdeday/Friday are "off-days" for me.
Just to let you know.
Civman2004 Jul 29, 2004, 02:24 AM How sad for the working class man. How even sadder for the one who lives in Australia and so doesn't have the same evening time free as the bulk of citizens
*sigh*
But I do get days off here and there (technically, I'm only supposed to work 4 days a week)

 Mine starts the first week of August...
Comnenus Jul 29, 2004, 01:01 PM I think it is pretty apparent from this poll that it will difficult for some of us to participate in tc.

Which is why I prefer Chieftess's Prime time turnchats ;).
Comnenus Jul 29, 2004, 02:38 PM Since this is my first game, how do we participate when we aren't able to attend tc's?
CivGeneral Jul 29, 2004, 02:56 PM Since this is my first game, how do we participate when we aren't able to attend tc's?
Well, most users partisipate in the discussion and polls when they are not able to attend the TCs.
MSTK Jul 29, 2004, 02:56 PM You vote for people and propose stuff.
Real Pave Jul 30, 2004, 05:29 AM I could participate on afternoons (11 am-5 pm GMT) now , but when my school starts, I'm only On-line at, let's say, 1pm-5pm GMT.
donsig Jul 30, 2004, 08:16 AM Who cares? The world would be a much better place without turnchats.
Vizurok Jul 30, 2004, 02:29 PM 4-7 GMT is the best for me...

As much as I enjoy the turnchats and will attend when I can (and some times when I should be fast asleep) this is why the decision making must remain in the forums.
